Darmstadt is well positioned for travel within Europe with fast road links, a main railway station and Frankfurt International Airport approximately 30 km to the north. EUMETSAT headquarters can be reached in approximately 20 minutes from the airport. The main railway station and a major motorway exit are nearby. Darmstadt is the home of a number of modern high technology companies and consequently there is a wide range of good quality hotel accommodation.
