The next round of internships will be in 2014, and will be open for applications from 1 September 2013.
EUMETSAT offers a small number of internship placements every year to undergraduates and recent graduates providing experience in space systems engineering, satellite meteorology or in work as a public, international organisation. Placements range from one to six months in duration and generally start on the first Monday in July. If you would like to apply for a placement, please note the following conditions:
In order for us to consider your application, please specifically mention:
Interns will receive a daily living allowance of 20€. In addition EUMETSAT will reimburse demonstrably necessary travel relocation costs at the start and end of the internship up to 400€. Interns are also eligible for reimbursement of accommodation costs up to 2,500€. Please note that internship positions at EUMETSAT are opportunities to develop your professional working-experience during your studies or after your recent graduation. EUMETSAT does not operate a Graduate Recruitment Programme and these internships will not develop into a permanent position. Interns are responsible for providing their own health and accident insurance and for finding their own accommodation in Darmstadt. |
