EUMETSAT Advisory Committee on Cooperating States

The EACCS is a subsidiary body of the EUMETSAT Council open to all non-Member States in Europe which have concluded a Cooperating State Agreement with EUMETSAT.

It is a link between the Cooperating States and the EUMETSAT Council. Its role is to inform the Cooperating States on EUMETSAT activities and plans, and to draw up, for submission to Council, opinions and recommendations on EUMETSAT activities, plans and any matter submitted to it by the Council.
The EACCS consists of one representative of each Cooperating State, who may be assisted by advisers. The chairperson of the EACCS has 'observer' status at Council meetings.
