Real-Time Imagery

The 'real-time' images are a comprehensive compilation of EUMETSAT satellite products reproduced in graphical form, incorporating satellite image-data loops; visualised products derived from satellite data, and a selection of RGB composite images.. The image files displayed are automatically refreshed with the latest, openly available data from the EUMETSAT satellites. In addition, a limited archive of 100 files per product is provided.

Note: All EUMETSAT images are subject to EUMETSAT copyright. If you wish to re-use these images, please display the copyright information: "copyright {year} EUMETSAT" (where {year} is the current year) on each of the images used.

Meteosat-9 Image   Near-Real Time Imagery   Near-real time imagery is available as direct observations from the spectral channels of the Meteosat 0 degree and IODC satellites, and the AVHRR instrument on board the polar-orbiting Metop satellite.
Meteosat-7 Image   Visualised Products   A series of visualised products from the Meteosat meteorological product suite (Meteosat 0 degree and IODC), e.g. Fire, Global Instability Index, Atmospheric Motion Vectors and Multi-sensor Precipitation Estimate.
Metop Image   RGB Composites   A selection of Meteosat 0 degree and Metop imagery, developed using the RGB compositing technique which offers the possibility of compressing multi-spectral information content for optimum visualisation.
