Danish delegation visits EUMETSAT

The Danish Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation, Uffe Toudal Pedersen, visited EUMETSAT on 4 February.
He was accompanied by Gorm Kofoed Petersen, Special Adviser, Delegate to the European Space Agency Council and Industrial Policy Committee, Danish Agency for Science, Technology & Innovation; and John Jacobsen, Consul and Head of Innovation Centre Denmark in Munich.
The Danish delegation met the EUMETSAT Director-General, Dr. Lars Prahm, and the organisation’s senior management. Dr. Prahm emphasised the importance of climate issues. The delegation was also briefed about EUMETSAT’s operations and users, training activities, cooperation with universities, procurement aspects, and flight dynamics and visited the Control Centres.
