EUMETSAT scientists demonstrate derivation of important climate variable
A team of EUMETSAT scientists led by Dr. Yves Govaerts have worked in collaboration with the EU Joint Research Centre to demonstrate that the surface albedo can be derived in a consistent manner from different geostationary satellites located at regular intervals around the Equator.
