Group for Earth Observation’s visit to EUMETSAT

On Thursday, 7 July 2011, EUMETSAT received 29 members of the Group for Earth Observation (GEO) from across Europe.

PUMA 2010 and AMESD stations deployed for 2nd AMESD User Forum

Over the last 14 months, 111 EUMETCast reception stations have been deployed in sub-Saharan Africa within the framework of the African Monitoring of Environment for Sustainable Development (AMESD) programme, which is funded by the 9th European Development Fund (EDF) and managed by the African Union Commission (AUC).
