Search & Rescue transponders to be included in future EUMETSAT satellites

EUMETSAT is set to expand its support of the Cospas-Sarsat system for Search and Rescue (SAR) by flying a transponder onboard future Meteosat Second Generation (MSG-3, MSG-4) and Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) imaging satellites.

Faster Metop-A Data Delivery from 10 June, 2011

Following a series of successful trials, EUMETSAT is pleased to announce the start of the operational demonstration phase for the Metop-A Antarctic improved data delivery timeliness.
