The IASI PC Scores product comes in addition to the IASI GDS level 1C product, which is disseminated on the GTS-RMDCN. The product is distributed in order to help the user community develop capacity to use such PC-representation of the IASI spectra.  

The IASI GDS Level 1C products will continue to be available on EUMETCast and via our Data Centre with full spectral coverage (8461 channels), and on the GTS-RMDCN with 300 channels.

The IASI PC Scores products are also available on EUMETCast and via the EUMETSAT Data Centre (registration through the EO Portal). The NRT dissemination of the IASI PC Scores in BUFR on EUMETCast-Europe will continue without change.

A typical file name for the IASI PC scores products via GTS will be:
iasi_20110701_090858_metopa_00101_eps_o_pcs.l1_bufr

Files will have an average size of 1.9 MB and be disseminated every 3 minutes.
