The IR2 12.0 channel will disseminate image data in the form of Low Rate transmissions and will have a spatial resolution of 4.0.
 
Data will continue to be disseminated on the same EUMETCast channels as the existing MTSAT image products, namely:-
 
For 3 hourly data
EUMETCast Data Channel : 3  (Multi-service Europe/Africa)

PID : 301
 
and
 
For hourly data
EUMETCast Data Channel : 4 (Multi-service Europe)
Multicast address : 224.223.222.27:2811
