FY-2D is a geostationary meteorological satellite operated by the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) at longitude 86.5 degree East. The FY-2D products are equivalent to the products from FengYun 2E currently disseminated on EUMETCast.

They include the following:

Normalised Geostationary Projection (Full Disk Images) dataset
Atmospheric Motion Vectors IR1 and IR3
Blackbody Brightness Temperature
Cloud Classification Product
Total Cloud Amount Product
Humidity product analysed by cloud information
Outgoing Longwave Radiation Product
Precipitation Estimation Product
Surface Solar Irradiance Product
Snow Fraction Product
Total Precipitable Water Product 

All above products are in AWX format, except for the Normalised Geostationary Projection dataset which is in HDF format.

EUMETCast requirements are as follows:

Channel: EUMETSAT Data Channel 11
PID (Europe, Africa, Americas): 300/300/1922
Multicast Address : 224.223.222.253

Users who are already subscribed for CMA products will receive these products automatically. Other users should register via the EO Portal.
