The exact times and durations of the signal degradation or outages depend on the reception location. Please use the sun outage calculator to determine the time for your location (enter satellite, location and antenna size).

Additionally for EUMETCast C/Band users only due to the KU/Band relay:

        - C/Band South America users can expect a period of degradation from 04 October 2012 to 13 October 2012 between 11:00 and 11:15 UTC.
        - C/Band Africa users can expect a period of degradation from 05 October 2012 to 13 October 2012 between 11:05 and 11:20 UTC.

Sun Collinearity will affect image data processing for the following image times:

        - Meteosat-8: from from 03 October to 13 October 2012 between 11:02 and 11:18 UTC.
        - Meteosat-9: from 07 October to 17 October 2012 between 11:40 and 11:57 UTC.
