H2020 GAIA-CLIM survey
The Finnish Meteorological Institute is gathering information on what users require from climate data.
As survey has been produced as part of the GAIA-CLIM (Gap Analysis for Integrated Atmospheric ECV CLImate Monitoring) project. It focuses on what products, data formats and user tools and support would be useful as final outcomes.
GAIA-CLIM is one of the first Horizon 2020 space program projects that started in March this year. The project aims to improve our collective capabilities to use ground-based remote-sensing and sub-orbital (aircraft, balloon) observations to characterise and ultimately calibrate space-borne measurements.
Outreach to, and input from, users is a key aspect of the work, which is why the Finnish Meteorological Institute produced the user survey.
