The following ICDRs, distributed via EUMETCast, will be updated:

SEVIRI Clouds Interim Climate Data Record: This ICDR, currently based on CLAAS-2 methods, will be updated to be based on CLAAS-3 on 7 December 2022. With the release of this new ICDR, the processing of the currently provided ICDR will be phased out. To allow a smooth transition for users, the two versions will be distributed in parallel on EUMETCast until February 2023.

The filename of the new ICDR will slightly differ from the filename of the current ICDR:

Current ICDR: S-CM_CFCmmyyyymmdd000041023SVMSG01MA.nc

New ICDR: S-CM_CFCmmyyyymmdd000000423SVMSGI1MA.nc

Differences are the version number (004 instead of 410) and the runlevel (I1 instead of 01).

SEVIRI Radiation Interim Climate Data Record: This ICDR, currently based on SARAH-2 methods, will be updated to be based on SARAH-3. The release of the updated ICDR is planned in Q1 2023 (exact date to be announced in due course).
