Electro-L N3 data from Roshydromet will be available on EUMETCast from 29 April 2021.

The data are image data from the MSU-GS instrument. They consist of full-disk images with 4km spatial resolution at the sub-satellite point, every 30 minutes. The following six channels will be made available:

The expected number of files per 30-minute repeat cycle is 38 (6 segments * 6 channels, plus prologue and epilogue files), which results in 1824 files per day with an overall data volume of ~870 MB per day.

The file format is compressed XRIT and the filenames have the following scheme:

H-000-GOMS3_-GOMS3_4_____-prodid-segment___-time-C_
With:
prodid: Product ID, specifying the channel, as shown in the table above
segment: Segment number, [000001-000006]
time: Timestamp [YYYYMMDDhhmm]

Example: H-000-GOMS3_-GOMS3_4_____-11_9_076E-000006___-202104112100-C_

The data will be distributed on EUMETCast as follows:

Note: the SatelliteID in the prologue file is 19002 that corresponds to Electro-L N2 (GOMS2). Roshydromet has been informed and a correction is expected.
