AC SAF Metop-C GOME-2 Near Real-Time Total Column product on EUMETCast soon
The AC SAF Metop-C GOME-2 Near Real-Time Total Column product will be available from 20 February 2020.

This product, like those derived from Metop-A and Metop-B, provides information about four types of trace gases: total O3 (Ozone), total and tropospheric NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide), total SO2 (Sulphur Dioxide) and total HCHO (Formaldehyde).
The product currently has demonstration status.
There are two types of files:
1. HDF-5 files, which will be distributed on EUMETCast Europe:
Multicast address: 184.108.40.206
2. BUFR files, which will be distributed on EUMETCast Africa:
Multicast address: 220.127.116.11
Example filename: S-O3M_GOME_O3-NO2-SO2_L2_20191118234454_003_METOPC_05355_DLR_04.BUFR
The parts highlighted in the filenames refer to the parameters normally included in the products. Note that for the BUFR product, only O3, NO2 and SO2 are included. In case one of these parameters cannot be generated, then it will not appear in the filename of the specific file.
Users already subscribed to AC SAF products via EUMETCast will receive this new product automatically. Other users wishing to receive this product should register via our Earth Observation Portal (EOP).
