Sentinel-1 ocean products to be updated

Filenames of Sentinel-1 ocean products will be updated on 23 February 2022.

The Sentinel-1 Level 2 Ocean (OCN) products, currently distributed on the GTS, will undergo a filename change on 23 February.

The filenames will change from

W_XX-EUMETSAT-Darmstadt,SURFACE+SATELLITE,S1A+OCN_C_EUMP_20220128045338_WV2_VV.bin

to

W_XX-EUMETSAT-Darmstadt,SURFACE+SATELLITE,S1A+OCN_C_EUMS_20220128045338_WV2_VV.bin

The product contents will not change.

The transition, in the coming months, is organised in a staged approach, involving reductions to the catalogue and service level of the Data Centre.
