Open source FCIDECOMP software is now available to decompress Meteosat Third Generation FCI L1c near real-time data.

The FCIDECOMP software can be used for:

Linux environments (RockyLinux, Ubuntu) as part of a conda package, or standalone;
Windows environments, as part of a conda package (standalone version planned for late 2023/early 2024)

Note: Meteosat Third Generation data is still in commissioning phase and it not yet operational. See the MTG Data page for regular updates on the commissioning process.
