The version of the product will change from v4r1 to v4r2.

This new version introduces three major changes from the current v4r1:

  1. The codes, scripts and initial tables are ready to process data from JPSS-2 OMPS. In particular, the matchup software for the OMPS Nadir Mapper with the OMPS Nadir Profiler can accept and aggregate the new higher resolution OMPS Nadir Mapper FOVs.
  2. Improvements to the forward model where the interpolations in wavelength are used to generate estimates of the broadening of the bandpasses.
  3. Use of new soft calibration adjustment tables. The largest changes with these tables are for the NOAA-20 tables where they now adjust the results to give better agreement with S-NPP retrievals.
