Upgrade of geostationary meteorological products for nowcasting

The products are:

Europe And North-Atlantic Geostationary Cloud Mask - MSG - 0 degree

Europe And North-Atlantic Geostationary Cloud Top Temperature And Height - MSG - 0 degree

Europe And North-Atlantic Geostationary Cloud Type - MSG - 0 degree

Rapidly Developing Thunderstorms - MSG - 0 degree

Convective Rain Rate - MSG - 0 degree

These products are currently generated with Version 2016 of the NWC SAF GEO software package. From 18 November, they will be generated with Version 2018 of that software package.

A description of the scientific changes associated with V2018 of the NWC SAF GEO software package can be found in relevant documentation provided by the NWC SAF.

NOTE: The upgrade will cause an outage of up to 6 hours on 18 November.
