Four junior engineers and scientists are sought for new positions created under EUMETSAT’s Early Career Employment Programme at the organisation’s headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany.

“The programme is a great opportunity to secure an exciting future in the space sector early in your career,” Head of Human Resources Raffael Clerici said.

“These are real jobs, not internships, offering recent graduates not just a place in an exciting industry but also the benefit of being mentored by recognised experts as they develop in their roles.”

The four positions are:

  • Junior Communication and Network Engineer
  • Junior Data Centre Engineer
  • Junior Remote Sensing Scientist
  • Junior Ground Stations and External Interfaces Engineer

An initial, two-year contract will be offered to the successful candidates, with further, five-year contracts awarded, subject to performance.

The deadline for applications is in March and more information can be found on EUMETSAT’s recruitment website.
