The reprocessed SLSTR-A Level 2 WST products covering the period from 19/04/2016 to 04/04/2018 are now available.
Friday, 25 January 2019
These data can be accessed from the Copernicus Online Data Access (CODA) service for reprocessed data (CODAREP). If you do not have an Earth Observation Portal (EOP) account, please create one and you will be able to access CODA and CODAREP.
To get the complete and consistent dataset users can combine the Reprocessed NTC dataset (PB 2.33) from CODAREP, which spans from 19 April 2016 to 04 April 2018 (sensing date); the operational NTC dataset (PB 2.33) from CODA, spanning from 04 April 2018 to 01 August 2018 (sensing date), and the operational NTC dataset (PB2.37) from CODA, from 01 August 2018 onwards (for exact timestamps please see the product notice for SL2 WST reprocessed data.
The geophysical validation of the SLSTR SST data was made using co-locations with global in situ measurements and showed expected agreement (RMS within 0.3 K).
The full validation report will be soon available.
Note: During the early instrument commissioning period (April-September 2016) some L2 SST reprocessed products have discontinuity because either L0 or L1 products were not available (data not received or processed with degraded quality), but the science quality of the products is nominal. More information is available in the product notice and later in the full validation report.
