This is the images section of the EUMETSAT website.

Via EUMETView, our visualisation service, you can view a wide selection of EUMETSAT imagery through an online map viewer or Web Map Service (WMS).

In our comprehensive image library you can find specially-selected imagery from events such as:

  • Hurricanes
  • Dust storms
  • Solar eclipses
  • Volcanic eruptions
  • Severe convection

To access older data you must order it from our archive, the EUMETSAT Data Centre, via our Earth Observation Portal (registration necessary).

All EUMETSAT images shown on our website are subject to EUMETSAT copyright. If you wish to re-use these images, EUMETSAT's copyright credit should be shown by displaying the words "copyright {year} EUMETSAT" (where {year} is the current year) on each of the images shown.
The designations employed and the presentation of material on this service do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the part of EUMETSAT concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city or area or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries. The boundaries and names shown and the designations used do not imply official endorsement or acceptance by EUMETSAT.
