MSG-4 is the last of the Meteosat Second Generation satellites resulting from the successful cooperation between EUMETSAT and the European Space Agency (ESA). All MSG satellites are manufactured by a European industry consortium led by Thales Alenia Space.

A new launch date will be communicated by Arianespace as soon as possible.
