This week’s image of the week is of the world’s largest iceberg A23a, near to the island of South Georgia in the Southern Ocean.

Cyclone Sean was the second tropical cyclone of Australia’s 2024-2025 cyclone season (November-April). 

It developed into a category 4 storm and although it didn’t make landfall, the cyclone brought strong winds and very heavy rainfall to the Pilbara coast (northwest Australia), flooding roads and houses and causing the closure of several ports.
