Online WEkEO demo on 2 July

The WEkEO V1 cloud platform provides a gateway to a huge portfolio of Copernicus service and Sentinel satellite data, with harmonised data access, cloud processing and expert user support.

The aim of the online demo on July 2 at 10:00-11:30 (CEST) is to introduce you to the new WEkEO functionalities, such as a direct, up-to-date, access to the entire Copernicus and Sentinel satellite data portfolios.

Agenda

• Overview of the WEkEO service (which data and cloud processing capabilities are available, what are the free and paid plans, user support and training agenda) – 30 mins
• Online demonstration of the WEkEO web portal (view, discover, select and download data, register for free plans, register for paid plans, run a jupyter notebook, ask for virtual machines, and run an application on virtual machines) – 40 mins
• Q&A – 20 mins

WEkEO DIAS has been designed by EUMETSAT, Mercator-Ocean International, and the ECMWF, and implemented by industry, to provide easy access to Copernicus information and processing tools, in one centralised location, so that users can develop applications for their own specific needs.
