This is the third 2021 “EO in Africa” Webinar. It is organised by EUMETSAT in partnership with the EU-AU GMES & Africa progamme, which aim a strengthening the use of earth observation for decision makers in Africa.
The aim of this webinar is to increase awareness of the role of Earth observation satellites in supporting African Blue Economy strategy. It will inform and interact with stakeholders on how satellite data, in particular form EUMETSAT and Copernicus satellites, are pertinent for the achievement of the African Blue Economy strategy. It will also inform participants about existing EO-based marine services in Africa and share experiences.
