The Copernicus Sentinel-3 validation team will meet at the Darmstadtium in Darmstadt to discuss the Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B satellite constellation, including scientific validation and potential improvements to the operational products derived from the two satellites. In addition, participants will learn about the status of the next member of the family to be launched, Sentinel-3C.

The Sentinel-3 scientific and user community meets each year to discuss the validation procedures and methods used for the Sentinel-3A and -3B satellites. The event fosters cooperation and synergies among calibration and validation teams and provides a forum to report results of on-going science activities related to the validation of Sentinel-3A and Sentinel-3B products.
