EUMETSAT approves funding for storage of recurrent MTG satellites
Meeting in Oslo, Norway, this week, the EUMETSAT Council approved funding for industrial activities required by EUMETSAT for the long term storage of the four Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) recurrent satellites after their acceptance at the Pre-Storage Reviews, their de-storage, the preparation and execution of their launch campaigns and support to in orbit commissioning.

EUMETSAT and CNES sign agreement on ARGOS receivers to fly on Metop-SG satellites
EUMETSAT’s Director-General, Alain Ratier, and Jean-Yves Le Gall, President of CNES, signed a cooperation agreement on the ARGOS Data Collection System to be included in the payload of the Metop-SG satellites of the EUMETSAT Polar System of Second Generation (EPS-SG).
